Interment was in the Antioch Cemetery, Rayville, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mr. Ben was born September 24, 1946 in Rayville, and passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, in Rayville. He was a veteran with the United States Marines. 

He is preceded by his wife, Michi Ratcliff; parents, Ben and Ruth Ratcliff; and uncles and aunt, J.B. and Ruby Ratcliff and Herman Ratcliff.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Shirley Ratcliff of Rayville; son, Marcus Ratcliff and wife, Lorrie, of Bixby, OK; stepsons, Frank Lane of Rayville and Lee Lane and wife, Heather, of Rayville; grandchildren, Alexa Ratcliff and fiancé, Conner, Jacob Ratcliff and wife, Ally, Piper

Ratcliff, Josie Ratcliff, Mackenzie Arnold and husband, Noah, Lee Lane II, and Amy Lane; great-grandchildren, Lydia Palotta, Bishop Ratcliff and Charlotte Ratcliff; siblings, Sharon Harris, Willie “Buddy” Ratcliff, Gary Lynn Ratcliff and Nancy Hill and husband, Elvin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were David Head, Randy Head, Cleo Head, Frank Lane, Lee Lane II and Jacob Ratcliff.

Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Stokes and Lee Lane.
