Mrs. Carolyn was born September 2, 1947, in Crowville, and passed away

Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025 in Monroe.

Carolyn was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who was always there for each and every member of her family when we needed her the most, offering support wisdom and love in abundance.

Her legacy will live on for generations to come through all of her children and grandchildren. There was never a doubt how much she loved us all because she was going to tell you how much at least five times before hanging up the phone! In her last few years, she would not use the word “bye” instead, she would say “Talley ho!!” Which to her meant “See you later.”

She was a wonderful mother with strong Christian beliefs, and always encouraged us to pray without ceasing and everything would work out just as our Lord decided it should. She was a beautiful woman who always presented herself with grace. She would light up a room when she entered it and was definitely going to bring so much joy along with her presence.

She was a friend to many and would go above and beyond to help in any way that she could. Her favorite stories to tell were the ones of her time spent growing up in the Lone Pine community of Franklin Parish with her GA girls and many friends that she had met along the way. She will be missed by so many. Our hearts are broken to have to say “Talley ho” to our sweet mother and Nana, she will live in our hearts forever and we will all be looking forward to “seeing her later.”

Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Warren; mother, Ira Lee Morse Albritton; grandparents, Ira and Lee Morse; brothers, Jesse Jr., Larry, Ronnie, and Roy Albritton; and special friend, JoAnn Livingston.
