Interment was in the Start Cemetery, Start, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Mrs. Carol was born December 24, 1937, in Jonesville, and passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, in Rayville. Carol was a longtime member of Crew Lake Methodist Church before moving to Start Baptist Church. She was the office manager of Rayville Producers Gin for nearly 50 years. She never missed a ball game of Justin’s.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Leonard Sullivan; parents, Paul and Jewell Jones; brother, Paul Jones Jr.; and brother-in-law, Charles Spruell. Survivors include her grandson, Justin Sullivan and wife, Jyssica, and their children, Cooper and Bennett; other family members, Shauna Cumpton and husband, Leo, and their children, Charles, Peyton, and Madalyn; sister, Nelwyn Spruell and her daughter, Paula Spruell; son, Brad Sullivan and family.

Pallbearers were Jared Williams, Shane Middleton, Mark Giesbrecht, Brandon McQuillin, James Waldron, and Bradley Parker.

The family would like to say a special thanks to her care giver, Sue Blanchard, and to the staff of Colonial Manor, Passages Hospice, and Dr. Kevin Carlisle for taking great care of Mrs. Carol.
