Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department has reported the following activity for the week of March 31 through April 6.
Criminal arrests were made for simple burglary (two counts), simple criminal trespass (three counts), theft, sexual battery, simple battery, possession of Schedule I, no driver’s license and aggravated battery.
One juvenile was charged with simple criminal trespass.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of eight traffic citations this week. That number includes two each for speeding and no insurance and one each for expired license plate, driving the wrong way on a one-way, expired MVI over 6 months and leaving the scene of an accident.
