Police Report

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of March 10-16. Criminal arrests were made for driving under suspension, careless operation, failure to signal turn, improper turning, reckless operation, driving the wrong dis-way on the one-way, disturbing the peace by fighting and no driver’s license.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 31 traffic citations this week. That number includes 16 for speeding, four for expired license plate, two each for running a stop sign, expired motor vehicle inspection over six months and failure to yield and one each for careless operation, no proof of insurance, driving under suspension, failure to carry registration, no insurance, running a red light, driving the wrong way on a one-way street, improper display of license plate and improper lane change.
