Wayne McManus supplied this photograph of the Rayville Fire Department in the 1950s. Fire Chief Dill Baker is on the right end of the back row. Stanley Whitby is on the left end of the back row, with James Harley third from the left and Claude Kirk fourth from the left. Joe Comeaux is the second person from the left on the front row and Milton Grantham is third from the left. We’re still tracking down the rest of the names if anyone wants to let us know who they recognized by e-mailing [email protected] calling 728-2250 or dropping it off at the Richland Beacon-News office on Louisa Street in Rayville.
