Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of Jan. 27 through Feb. 2.
They include arrests for no driver’s license, improper stop fire lane, second degree battery, contempt of court, failure to appear (two counts), shoplifting, driving under suspension, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace simple drunk, resisting arrest by false identification, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and armed robbery.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of nine traffic citations this week. That number includes four for speeding and one each for no proof of insurance, failure to yield with an accident, improper lane change with an accident, expired license plate and expired MVI sticker (over six months.)
