The Richland 4-H Royal Court was presented Jan. 18 at the Rayville Arts Center where 32 participants were crowned.
The participants are crowned based on fundraising votes with a penny equalling a vote. The highest amount of votes is elected queen or king in each division. Honored princesses are those who have more than 20,000 votes but didn’t achieve the queen spot.
These participants helped raise around $4,000 to help boost the 4-H program and continue to participate in enrichment activities.
The fourth and fifth grade division was won by Queen Lyric Jones and King Lucien Hull. There were 10 princesses, three honored princesses and two princes.
The princesses included JuliaAnna Williamson, Kennedy Smart, Madison Herrington, Makenzie Herrington, Leah Martien, Tae Washington, Gracelynn Herrington, Beverly Parrish, Lesleigh Harvey, and Addison Noland. The honored princesses include Faith Vollmar, Arianna Haynes, and Maniyah White. Princes were Brysen Noland and Silas Chapman.
The sixth through eight grade divisions were won by Queen Audrey Middleton and King Finn Curry. There were three princesses, one honored princess and one prince. The princesses include Brookelyne Williamson, Jasmine Gissendiner, Ava Tanner and honored princess Brylie Borden. The prince was Ryne McDuffie.
The ninth through 12th grade divisions were won by Queen Maryann Rodgers and King JT Jinks. There were four princesses and two honored princesses. The princesses were Annabelle Olivo, Ava Brakefield, Alexa Lemoine, Ava Chapman and Honored Princesses Aaron-Sophia Bass and La’Donna Carter.
