Police Report

Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests from Jan. 13-26 Arrests were made for with no driver’s license, no driver’s license (two counts), resisting arrest by flight, running stop sign (two counts), disturbing the peace, fugitive from justice, resisting arrest by false identification, loitering and failure to appear (three counts).

Juvenile arrests included simple trespassing (two counts) and simple burglary.

••• The Rayville Police Department partment issued a total of 32 traffic citations. That number includes 16 for speeding, three for no proof of insurance, two for careless operation with an accident and one each for failure to secure license and registration and no insurance, failure to secure registration, tail lights (two required), no proof of insurance, failure to dim lights, headlights (two required), brake lights/turn signals, failure to yield with an accident, improper lane change with an accident, expired license plate and expired motor vehicle inspection (over six months).
