Hunter safety course offered by Richland sheriff’s office

The฀ Richland฀ Parish฀ Sheriff’s฀ Offi฀ce฀ will฀ hosting฀ a free three-day Hunter Education ฀ Safety฀ Course฀ at฀ 6฀ p.m.฀Feb.฀3-5฀at฀Holly฀Ridge฀ School,฀ located฀ at฀ 2306฀ Highway฀183,฀Rayville.

The course will cover firearm, hunting safety, wildlife management principles, ethics, game identification, and outdoor survival. Firearms and ammunition will be provided for attendees. Students must be at least 10 years old or older and attend all three nights of class to receive credit.
