James Pat Doles

Funeral services for James Pat Doles, 83, of Rosepine, were held at Rosin Creek Pentecostal Church in Harrisonburg, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, with Kim Cook officiating.

Interment followed at Ellis Boothe Cemetery in Harrisonburg under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home - Jonesville. The family received friends at the church on Friday, October 25, 2024.

James Pat  was born on Monday, November 25, 1940, in Bonita, and passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024, at his home with family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam and retired after 20 years.

He is reunited with the love of his life, Carmen Elaine Boothe Doles; parents Frank Morris Doles and Marion Bernice Robertson Doles; father and mother-in-law, Ellis M. Boothe Sr., and Doretta Cooper Boothe.

Those left to cherish Pat’s memories are his daughter, Jincy Newman and her husband, David, of Rosepine; son, James Adrian Doles of Huntsville, AL; grandson, Cade Newman and his wife, Risha, of Kent, WA; granddaughter, Katherine Newman of Rosepine; brother, Ellis Ray Doles and his wife Barbara of Grenta; brothers-in-law, Leo Boothe and his wife Kim of Dunbarton, Shelby Boothe and his wife, Roylene ,of King Salmon, and Ellis M. Boothe Jr. and his wife, Marybeth, of Tew Lake; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Those honoring Pat as pallbearers were Wyatt Boothe, Jake Winston, Barry Boothe, Joe Hall, Cory Perego, and Danny Rogers

Honorary pallbearers were Wiley Boothe, Patrick Boothe, Joey Boothe and Chris Boothe.
