Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made the following arrests for the week of June 23-30.

Three arrests were made for theft less than $1,000 and one arrest each was made for no driver’s license, running a stop sign and hit and run.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 15 traffic citations this week. That number includes 10 for speeding and one each for no proof of insurance, no driver’s license, no driver’s license in possession, hit and run and improper turn.

Chief Markus Turner has highlighted the significance of citizens maintaining vigilance and holding wrongdoers accountable for their criminal negligent intentions, mainly when such actions are near their homes. 

“By doing so, we can promptly handle the complaint and ensure the prosecution of those involved,” he said.

Chief Turner encourages the community of Rayville to unite with his team to facilitate the positive progression of the area. He emphasizes his team’s commitment to establishing a secure and safe environment for all citizens.

Chief Turner and staff advocates for the active protection of senior citizens, emphasizing the importance of demonstrating care and concern for them.
