Funeral services for Pauline Watson, 99, of Rayville, were held at Saturday, June 22, 2024, at West New Home Baptist Church, Holly Ridge, with Bro. Troy Dennard and Bro. Trent Allen officiating.
Interment was in McKnight Cemetery, Holly Ridge, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
Mrs. Pauline was born July 19, 1924, in Downsville, and passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024, in Rayville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Watson; son, Larry Ray Watson; grandson, James Terry Watson; parents, Maggie and John Tom Smith; and sister, Josephine Smith.
Survivors include her sons, Donald Watson and wife, Eunice, of Baton Rouge, and Paul Watson and wife, Linda, of Rayville; grandchildren, Scott Watson, Melanie Holmes and husband, Greg, Robin Gordon and husband, Bill, Shane Kraft and husband, John, and Julie Rutherford and husband, Wayne; eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Johnny Ray Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Pallbearers were Bendel Clack, Vic Cheek, Charlie Morgan, Mitch Stokes, Tim Branch and Bryan Miller.
Honorary pallbearer was Doug Gammill.
