Rayville Police Chief Markus Turner announced the Rayville Police Department made nine arrests for the week of April 29 through May 5.
These included arrests for aggravated flight from officer, resisting an officer, headlights (two required, failure to appear in court, disobedience to a police officer, soliciting, domestic abuse battery, damage to property and resisting an officer by false information.
Two juveniles were also arrested. One was charge with discharging a firearm and one with illegal possession of a firearm.

The Rayville Police Department issued a total of 16 traffic citations this week. That number includes eight for speeding and one each for no proof of insurance, failure to register, switched license plate, disturbing the peace by loud music, leash law violation, failure to yield with an accident and off road vehicle on roadway.
