Ellen Vaugh Davis was truly surprised with a birthday party for her 80th birthday on Sunday, Oct. 24. There were several friends and family who made this a great big success. We wish you many more, Ellen.  

Skipper and Allison Vaugh and grandson, Hunter, from Merriville, came by the store on Monday for a real good visit. We called Vanessa and she came down to see them. Gosh! It had been years and years since we last saw them.  

The Hicks sisters, Cathy Sanford from Rayville and Alice Caudle from Shreveport, were here earlier in the week for a most welcome visit.  

Rechell Rawls, Reina and Clain spent Halloween weekend out in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Janice, Deline and Roman Rawls. They also visited with Tommy and Jayce Rawls. They also visited Tommy and Jayce Rawls and their family. They enjoyed every minute out there, goats and all!  

Happy Birthday this week to Brittany Ingrame and Lacey Erin Baby on Nov. 4, Anna Adams, Grace Evelyn Nix, Rhonda McManus and Dakota McManus on Nov. 5, Autumn Allbritton, Matt Morgan and Marissa Greer on Nov. 6, Toni Navaro and Victor Rawls on Nov. 7, Lanny Williams and Cindy Bell on Nov. 8, Diane McPherson and Charlene Towers on Nov. 9, Jenny Nix, Menko Thompson, Elizabeth Mims and Rachel Watson on Nov. 19. May each of these celebrate many more happy ones.  

Our heartfelt love, sympathy and prayers go out to the family of Mrs. Bobbie Donald Fallin in her homegoing last week. She was a faithful friend of mine for many, many years. To know Bobbie was to love her. May God bless each one who was touched by her passing.
